Reiki Healing Touch therapy is a non invasive, gentle
healing art
that can help to put you back into balance and promote healing. It is
an energy work modality or
spiritual energy healing method. Christians call
it laying of hands or spiritual healing. No matter the name given, it
is an energy work healing touch therapy method that is similar to
Quantum touch, Intuitive touch, Therapeutic
touch as practiced clinically.
We are
all forms of energy with a putitive biofield, aura, energy field. You
do not need to be religious or spiritual
in order to
give or receive reiki. It's universal, transcending
race,
religion, or any belief system. Reiki is not magic or
mysticism,
not a religion or belief. It's a healing art, just as Jesus practiced
over 2000 years ago by laying hands on the sick and healing them.
Whether you believe in Jesus or not, him and other famous historical
healers
harnessed energy to help others self heal.
Who
may be in need of healing? We all are in need of some sort of healing,
whether it be
mental, physical, or emotional.
I, the Reiki practitioner, would use my intuition as a
guiding force and would utilize a light
touch and
movement of
my hands to detect imbalances and then enable your mind, body, and
spirit to
begin the
process of self-healing.
Energy channels or the body's meridians that may have blockage(s)
brought on by any number of causes can then be unblocked and will in
turn become free flowing.
A deep sense of relaxation should occur, putting you into a liminal
state. You will feel a general sense of well-being, it eases pain,
anxiety, and
stress related symptoms, and boosts immunity.
An energy shift occurs to release stagnant
energy and to bring you back into sync and help
your mind, body, spirit to become aligned as it should be.
Energy
energizing energy is the best way to describe it.
